These are monies that coulb be used for Americans…
According to the Iran War Cost Tracker, US spending on military operations in Iran has surpassed $85 billion over 79 days of hostilities. The tracker is based on a Pentagon briefing to Congress on March 10, which reported $11.3 billion spent in the first six days, with a planned $1 billion per subsequent day.
The total is nearly three times higher than the $29 billion estimate previously cited by acting US Assistant Secretary of the Army Jules Hurst. The US and Israel launched their campaign against Iran on February 28. A two-week mutual ceasefire was announced on April 7. Tehran reported 3,375 Iranian deaths over 40 days of strikes.
Talks held in Islamabad on April 11 failed to reach a long-term agreement. On April 21, the US president announced plans to extend the ceasefire, but Iran stated it would not recognize a unilateral extension and would act in its own interest.
