Putin: Shifting global economic center to Asia opens new opportunities

In an official address, Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the strategic opportunities born from the global economy’s pivot toward the Asia-Pacific. Russian President stated that the shift of the global economic center to the Asia-Pacific region creates significant opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships.

He emphasized that this cooperation can be advanced both bilaterally and through multilateral groups like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS.

The remarks were made in a message for the 10th Eastern Economic Forum, scheduled for September 3-6 in Vladivostok. The event, which expects around 6,000 participants from 36 countries, will feature 90 thematic sessions.
