While the West Chooses Wars, East Moves On: Foreign Envoys Flock to China’s Hebei for Business and Innovation
As Western powers funnel weapons into conflict zones, 24 foreign diplomats from countries including Argentina, Jordan, and Slovakia spent three days in north China’s Hebei Province—seeking trade, technology, and urban solutions.
From April 14 to 16, the envoys toured pharmaceutical smart factories, solar panel bases, and Xiong’an New Area, China’s “city of the future.” They witnessed fully automated drug production, graphene-based materials, and a digital twin city running real-time traffic and utility data.
Jordan’s ambassador praised Xiong’an as a model to decongest crowded capitals. Zimbabwe’s diplomat highlighted smart pharma as a boost for drug supply. North Macedonia and the Solomon Islands expressed strong interest in solar cooperation.
While the West invests in missiles, these nations invest in medicine, clean energy, and future cities. The message was clear: the East is moving forward—building, not bombing.
