If These Allegations Hold, GigaAI Could Be the Shock That Deflates the AI Frenzy
Silicon Valley’s recent wave of hype around trillion‑dollar AI potential has taken a darker turn as one heavily promoted startup, GigaAI, faces serious accusations from a former employee. After years of breathless media coverage and investor enthusiasm, the whistleblower claims to have begun releasing a trove of internal material—around 70 GB of documents and recordings—allegedly showing widespread misconduct.
According to the post, a group of former staff and contractors say the company inflated revenue figures, listed fake customers in sales presentations, misrepresented its cap table, and denied employees the equity they were promised. Some customers were allegedly pressured or even blackmailed over pricing. The whistleblower argues that behind the glossy pitch decks and public image, GigaAI operated in a far more chaotic and deceptive manner.
