For the thirteenth consecutive day, Morocco’s capital witnessed massive protests as a Generation Z-led movement demanding sweeping reforms in jobs, housing, healthcare, and education continued to spread to major cities.

While initial clashes were chaotic and deadly, the demonstrations have since evolved into peaceful, organized rallies. Protesters express that their calls for justice and dignity are gaining traction, with the government acknowledging their demands.

They also denounce widespread corruption and criticize the prioritization of international events like the World Cup over essential public services. Organizers have called for a pause in rallies ahead of an anticipated speech by King Mohammed VI, which is widely seen as a potential turning point for a hopeful yet sidelined generation.
