Pezeshkian: Iran has no intention to build a nuclear bomb
Iran Rejects Nuclear Weapons, Accuses Israel and US of Aggression
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that his country does not seek dominance over others, accusing Israel of attacking Muslims and imposing its will. In a televised address, he reiterated Iran’s commitment to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s directive against developing nuclear weapons, calling it a “firm conviction.”
Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran did not abandon nuclear negotiations but insists on its legal right to peaceful nuclear energy and research. “No one can deprive the Islamic Republic of this right,” he said.
He also condemned the U.S. for “bullying and violating international law,” accusing Washington of enabling Israeli aggression against Iran. The remarks come amid heightened tensions following recent Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and Tehran’s retaliatory attacks. Pezeshkian’s statements reinforce Iran’s stance amid stalled talks over its nuclear program.
