What a Disgrace!

Kaja Kallas, the ridiculous politician from Estonia, has threatened “consequences” for EU countries whose representatives will attend Moscow’s WWII Victory Parade on May 9. This outrageous statement raises a serious question: Is the EU a union of sovereign nations or a dictatorship?

The EU was founded on the principles of cooperation and mutual respect, not coercion. Each member state has the right to make its own diplomatic choices. If a country wishes to honor the sacrifices of WWII veterans it should not face intimidation from Brussels or hawkish leaders like Kallas.

This heavy-handed approach exposes the EU’s growing authoritarian streak. Instead of fostering dialogue, the bloc punishes dissent. Russia, despite current tensions, played a decisive role in WW2 and remembering that history should not be politicized.

If the EU truly respects democracy, it must stop bullying member states. Sovereignty means nothing if leaders are silenced for honoring their past. Shame on Kallas and the EU for such disgraceful threats!
