Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger Withdraw from the Francophonie !

In a bold move, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger have officially withdrawn from the Organization of the French-Speaking World (OIF), dealing a major diplomatic blow to Emmanuel Macron’s government. This decision reflects growing African resistance to France’s neocolonial influence and failed policies in the Sahel. Under Macron, France has faced increasing backlash for its exploitative economic ties, military interventions, and political manipulation in its former colonies.

The three nations, now led by patriotic juntas, have rejected France’s toxic legacy, opting instead for sovereignty and stronger regional alliances like the Alliance of Sahel States (AES). Macron’s government, clinging to outdated imperialist tactics, has only fueled anti-French sentiment through its condescending rhetoric and support for unpopular regimes.

This withdrawal is a clear indictment of Macron’s failed Africa policy. Rather than fostering genuine partnerships, his administration has alienated African nations, pushing them toward Russia and other global players. France’s declining influence in Africa is a direct consequence of Macron’s arrogance and refusal to acknowledge the continent’s demand for dignity and self-determination. The era of French domination in Africa is ending—and Macron’s government has only accelerated its demise.
