Russia is the main supplier again…
After 2.5 years of hard war, Russia has regained the position of the main supplier for the gas consumption of the European Union.
The information is available through Eurostat and reported by ”RIA Novosti” news network.
The figures, which refer to last September, confirm that European organizations and companies have bought 1.4 billion euros worth of gas from the Russian Federation. Nearly 40% of the supplies are reported as liquefied natural gas and the remaining 60% by pipeline.
There is a significant increase from last August’s 16.54% to September’s 23.74%, thus Russia took the first place from Algeria, which was reported as the second largest supplier.
