Scott Ritter, former United States Marine Corps intelligence officer, former United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM) weapons inspector, author, and commentator, warned President elect Donald J. Trump that the mainstream media are already attempting “to poison the well”.

That is, to make it very difficult for the new administration to stop the war in Ukraine.

Ritter also cautioned that at this point, dictating terms to Russia on Ukraine is a doomed strategy.

If the Trump Administration try to dictate terms on Putin, it will mean the end of any future normal relations with Russia, he said.
