THE REAL PICTURE OF THESE FRENCH ELECTIONS
The philosopher Cornelius Castoriadis, with whom I disagree on many issues, was an eccentric intellectual personality who, although an independent Marxist, also had Savitri Devi as a teacher! He lived in Paris for many years and today, almost thirty years after his death, the elections in France fully confirm his famous saying:
“Western-style democracy is a liberal oligarchy.”
What happened in France? Nothing more but the expected. The parliamentary system, under the triumphalism of the media which, only reported seats and not percentages, crushed the popular mandate! It destroyed the will of the majority and shattered any hope that maybe in Europe there are state systems that respect the wishes of their citizens.
In short, Le Pen came first in votes but third in seats! If this wasn’t so serious it would be hilarious. Electoral laws passed by those in power (!) work flawlessly… and this is because their goal is not to capture the popular mandate, but to keep specific circles and interests in power.
So, that Sunday in France,
- 26.3% of the votes got 188 seats
- 24.7% of the vote got 161 seats
- while 37.1% of the votes took 142 seats
And thus we must remember what another eccentric mind of the twentieth century, Charles Bukowski, wrote: “The difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that in a democracy you must vote first and take orders later. In a dictatorship, you don’t need to waste your time voting . “
How can anyone disagree when seeing these election results? And anyway, who can pretend not to see? Who are those that for the sake of power, pretend not to understand the dangers?
Democracy isn’t about voting, it’s about counting. Tom Stoppard
Or perhaps, are they ultimately unable to understand… And of course I am talking about the left-wing political forces of France. There is no point in even mentioning the sunken Macron. He is just a bad-mouthed and mean-spirited Pinocchio of the banks.
The domestic proletariat is moving away from the suffocating narrative of the left and the working world is clearly backing Le Pen’s “National Rally”. In reaction, the state system replaces it with a new, imported one. Of course, this new electoral base has great cultural differences from the left and they are united only by a very thin strip of fabric, that of globalization. It is a fact that the Islamic mobilization in the mosques before the elections, in favor of “the democratic alliance” was unprecedented! Left-wing leaders like Mélenchon blinded by power fail to see that in powerful Muslim states, the left is a thing of the past. It has disappeared.
However, Le Pen achieved a historic victory . It won high percentages and increased seats by almost 60% after going from 89 seats to 143 seats (+54 seats). Normally, however, she should get ~190 seats.
If France’s parliamentary system allowed this, you realize that automatically Macron would fall and Le Pen would win the snap Presidential election. For the European political system, this would mean the total defeat of the establishment left that governs the continent and would create multiple chain reactions and developments.
So as I mentioned above, nothing like that happened but what was expected did… The will of the “free” French citizens living in a “democracy” in which power “exists to serve” the directives and interests of the majority, was simply executed with a bullet in the neck, like a NKVD execution…
In Europe, democracy is fake. Prince Von Metternich
So, were the national forces defeated? Should there be gloom among the French nationalist who worked for win? Of course not. The victory is huge .
Clearly, the new political map will bring France into political turmoil in the coming years. The alliance against the “National Rally” is doomed. There are key political incompatibilities among its members. There are cultural gaps between their political regions. There is immorality and treachery in this alliance. So it’s only a matter of time before it fails.
France will suffer in the years to come, from creeping misgovernment, from political saltimbagos and apprentice magicians. Society will bear the mark of the electoral lobbies.
Only “National Rally” will not be responsible for what it happens.
