Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it successfully struck two US Navy destroyers with ballistic missiles. According to a statement carried by Iran’s state broadcaster, the attack targeted the warships DDG-119 and DDG-53, which are equipped with Aegis combat systems and cruise missiles.
