The Finnish President and Knight of the Order of Idiotic Politicians, Alexander Stubb, made his “historical declaration” by saying — while on a state visit to Canada — the following monumental stupidity:
“Middle powers have a lot of agency, as long as we take it.”
Finland, which became a free country only in 1917 and only because of the collapse of the Russian Empire to the Bolsheviks — Finland with a population of 5,656,779 and approximately 24,000 active military personnel, with around 100 ships in its navy and 60 combat aircraft (F/A-18 Hornets) — is a “middle power”!!!
This idiot made Finland a NATO member just at the time when the US (!!) is considering leaving the alliance!!
