According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, at least 555 people non combatans, have been killed across Iran since joint US-Israeli strikes began on Saturday, March 1, 2026 . The humanitarian organization reported that 131 cities and residential areas have been affected by the ongoing military campaign .

Among the deadliest incidents was a strike on a girls’ primary school in Minab, southern Iran, which reportedly killed more than 160 people, including many students . Iranian state media confirmed at least 165 fatalities at the school . Additionally, nine hospitals have been “seriously damaged” across the country, including a neonatal ward at a Tehran hospital . The Red Crescent has deployed over 100,000 rescuers nationwide and maintains a network of approximately 4 million volunteers on standby for humanitarian services . The previous casualty count announced Saturday stood at 201 dead and 747 wounded.
