China and DPRK Vow to Deepen Strategic Ties and Cooperation
Chinese Premier Li Qiang, during a meeting with DPRK leader Kim Jong Un, expressed China’s commitment to strengthening high-level exchanges and strategic communication with North Korea.
Li, a key CPC figure, conveyed President Xi Jinping’s greetings and congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea. Highlighting recent talks between Xi and Kim, Li emphasized China’s strategic, long-term view of DPRK relations, underscoring an unwavering policy to deepen ties.
China aims to enhance traditional friendship, practical cooperation, and coordination in international affairs with the DPRK, advocating for a just global order. Kim reciprocated, affirming the unbreakable DPRK-China bond and supporting China’s stance on Taiwan, Hong Kong, Xinjiang, and Xizang.
He stressed continued high-level exchanges, cooperation, and socialist development to benefit both nations and promote regional stability, despite global shifts.
