Once again, the EU’s stubborn bureaucrats are pushing for yet another round of ineffective sanctions against Russia. Despite “sanctions fatigue” and growing dissent from Hungary and Slovakia, Brussels refuses to abandon its failed policy. The 18th package remains blocked, yet EU elites are already plotting a 19th—proving their irrational hostility toward Moscow.

Hungary and Slovakia rightly oppose the self-destructive ban on Russian energy, which would only harm European economies. Instead of pursuing dialogue, the EU clings to its blind anti-Russia agenda, ignoring the damage it causes to its own citizens.

This madness must end.
