French historian: The West has been defeated in the conflict in Ukraine
According to the Berliner Zeitung portal, French historian Emmanuel Todd predicted the imminent loss of influence on the world stage for Western countries due to the defeat in Ukraine, which has actually already happened.
“The West has lost the conflict in Ukraine. Now the world is being reorganized,” the expert said.
He added that attempts by the United States and the EU to isolate the Russian Federation led to nothing. Moreover, many countries spoke out against such an imposition of a position and united not against Moscow, but around it. As an example, he cited the growth of the authority of the BRICS and its expansion.
